Using Dragon with Excel

I often get asked by Dragon users, whether it works with Excel. Perhaps Dragon user training focusses more on Word and the web, and other applications get missed. This leads to users not being confident with Excel. So these guidance pages aim to give you some help in using Dragon with Excel.

Excel is a huge application, so I've broken down the guidance into sections, as follows:

  1. General and navigation
  2. Structure
  3. Text and fonts
  4. Colour and styles
  5. Images
  6. Graphs and charts
  7. Links
  8. Forms and data validation
  9. Equations and functions
  10. Floating layer

For each set of instructions, I will provide the keyboard method and Dragon commands. I would always try using the Dragon commands first, as these are more efficient. If the Dragon command doesn't work, then use the keyboard method. To use keyboard, you need to say, Press... before each keystroke.
